NSX and Mc Laren F1

Probably I would never see these to cars together in real life. Gordon Murray the designer for Mc Laren F1 said that he gt inspiraton for the sportcars when he drove the NSX. He was impressed with the handling and comfort of the car and the exotic material the NSX was built with.

AutoArt Mc Laren F1

Yes I received the Mc Laren F1 today. I'm not sure if this is a collectors item as it does not have the same Authenticities card like the NSX does. But it is a cool addition to my AutoArt ollection.

AutoArt NSX

Finally my second NSX model has arrive from AutoArt. The detail on this Signature model is amazing. I am now a proud collector of AutoArt NSX seriel number 1977. Next to arrive is AutoArt McLaren F1.

NSX, Kamen Rider etc

It is time again to update this blog. I have recently ordered from AutoArt UK one of the latest product that is a 1990 Honda NSX model. This is a signature edition hence the price US$177.00. The detail is as expected for every AutoArt model extremely detail down to the brake caliper marking.


Another two that I have order from Japan are the Kamen Rider the First (remake) and Nene Anegasaki. I've also ordered Yoda lightsaber pen that lights up. These will sit infront of my TV.

Things urgently need to order

The linkage between #'s 1, 6 and 9 looks like the rod that comes down from the outside handle. It fits into a slot in the actual latching mechanism. If it came out, you need to put it back in with one of the above parts.

This is the part number of the parts in my hand in the first pic. It includes a white snap clip, a yellow snap collar and a metal washer.

Future upgrades for the NSX

In my quest for beauty in art for my NSX (I am an artist myself) I have listed the following upgrades for the NSX. Two most expensive parts in the upgrades are the carbon kevlar NSX-R seat (USD 2500) and Advan RZ wheels (USD2300).

Drive shaft boot

I recently sent my car to Sing Hiap Hin for the drive shaft boot regreasing. Prior to the servicing I have heard tapping sound and the car feel jerking whenever the car start from stoplight. After the service car is more stable and no more noise. There is some whining noise coming from the engine side which was addressed to me by Silan to be pulley noise. I will try to order the parts.

Also while I'm at SHH the rear brake disc was repaired and new pads were installed. Good job SHH. I'm still confused why some people are complaining about the shop. For me they are the doctor for my car and true NSX experts are difficult to find in this country.
