DIY Brake Reservoir

I had found my brake reservoir having spiderweb (cracking). No leak yet but as precautionary approach I purchase these Spoon socks to cover them from sunlight.

Wheel adapter

I have custom made adapters for the front and rear to push the wheels so that they sit flush to the fenders. These are not ordinary wheel spacers as they come with their own hub to support the wheels rather than sitting on the wheel studs. Advantage of this is added track width for look as well as lowered center of gravity.

The front adapters are 25mm thick as can be seen on top. Rear are 35mm. Front cost me about $350 a pair and rear $560. Still they are cheaper than getting new wheels and you can still keep the oem wheels.

As can be seen is the Mazda 808 classic car. The owner didn't want to sell the car even when I offered to buy it from him.

Stranded

The damn car cannot start today. Classic case of Main Relay. My flux capacitor decided to take a rest today just when the day is good. The car had to be towed. I'll try to check if Happy Motor have the relay tomorrow.

Movie: Batman (Dark Knight)

The movie is true to it's title. Another classic movie. Just imagine Silence of the Lamb but put it into bigger proportion. Intense. I think this time Joker stole the limelight. No wonder he is Batman's arc enemy. Great performance from the late Heath Ledger. Also not known on the movie was the appearance of the Batgirl to be (Gordon's daughter). I will be watching the movie again for the second time. I tell you it's that good.

Movie: Journey To The Centre of The Earth

Starring Brandon Fraser (The Mummy) is an action/adventure movie. To me it is a new Indiana Jones with its own originality. A very good watch.

Games: Gears of War 2

Those who have not played the first game let me tell you...You are missing a piece of history in gaming. This series has got to be one of the best action game...evahh. The same company is now coming up with the second installment. Have a look at some of the screen shot of the hero and the enemies.

My Ride(s): Part 1

Guys and gurls, presenting one of my two rides. Honda NSX. I bought this sportscar back in 2001 and since then has many facelift. This is what it look currently. Listed below is what I currently have on the car.

1. New Type-R front bumper.

2. New Type-R front hood.

3. New Type-R rear spoiler. (Exposed CF)

4. New rear valence.

5. HKS sports muffler.

6. New front lamps and rear lamps.

7. Tein Superstreet coilovers.

8. Samco coolant hoses.

9. Necvox touch screen DVD player.

There will be few things to be added to complete my quest on building NSX-R replica.

Movie: Hellboy 2

From my favourite artist Mike Mignola who've also drawn Batman comics and Bramstoker Dracula a second installment of Hellboy (his creation). The movie was great. It makes me love elves somemore and value natures more. Hope to see Batman next week.
Btw the movie is a must-watch.

Movie: Garoojigi (Korea) - Not for Kiddos!

Hilarious Korean movie about a young man who is always under the shadow of his big brother. He fell in love with a girl who lives in the forest. The girl was saved by the big brother and he planned to make her as part of the family. The young brother took a wrong message and left heartbroken. Along the way he saved a monk who later gave him an advise to achieve his desire. (Hint...big gun)

Soon crazy things start happening. A very good watch for the grown up.

Movie: Hancock

Not a good movie. Even with the cast Will Smith, Jason Bateman and the beautiful Charlize Theron could not save this movie. I will not collect the DVD of this movie. Btw this movie is more about love story rather than action movie.

No tax on car parts

Yahou! Zero tariff on car parts. How excellent would that be? Excerpt on today Borneo Bulletin (Saturday 5th July 2008) "However in terms of car parts, most of it will be reduced to zero (percent) within a three-year period."

I could now imagine new kits on my sportscar. Hmm...
